Weston House
| |
Once a single storey stable for the adjoining Rose Cottage, Weston House now stands proudly at the bottom of the steep bank that runs through Robin Hood’s Bay. It is one of the few properties in Bay that benefits from an outside area that combines both a pretty little patio area and a large gravelled terraced area with picnic bench, that is a real sun trap on those brighter days. It is a spacious but very cosy cottage that is ideal for families but also for couples wishing to escape from the bustle of everyday life.
Gas central heating keeps the cottage cosy year round with an endless supply of hot water. All linen is provided except for towels and includes feather pillows and large comfy duvets.
The first floor has a sitting room with tv, dvd player, Freeview Sky and large selection of books to mull over. To the rear of the property is a large kitchen diner off which is a wash room with washer and drier. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas hob, electric oven, microwave and larder fridge. A stable door leads onto the patio / garden. There is also a wall mounted tv and video in the kitchen.
The second floor has 2 double bedrooms, the first with shower cubicle and the second with en-suite bath and shower room. There is a separate loo and a single bedroom also on this floor. Up a further staircase onto the second floor is a large open plan single bedroom / playroom with an en-suite loo.
